Overall Satisfaction with Cisco Webex Board Series

We use Cisco WebEx during client meetings and when presenting to a large audience. This tool is used only by specific teams and the usage is largely determined by what video conferencing tools the client is comfortable with.
  • Accessibility on web, and mobile
  • Ability to schedule recurring meetings
  • Easy screen sharing
  • Good new interface
  • Connecting / Disconnecting is slow
  • Slow to adopt new features; newer tools are more slick
  • lack of proper integration with email services
  • It's not the tool of choice for most of or clients
  • Mostly adopting this tool has low ROI
WebEx is inferior compared to Google Meet and Zoom. We chose WebEx as some of our clients use WebEx and we wanted to have commonality. For a majority of our work, we use alternate tools. Other tools have easy integration with email / work suites. WebEx is late to the game and is playing catchup. Most features were introduced very late and / or do not work as well as they do in other rival platforms.
I've not had a chance to use support. But I have heard from peers that support is slow or non-existent.
I have given this rating as other rival tools are comparatively better. Better integration with Google workplace would have ensured a better rating. Also, the platform needs to be nimble. Right now it is too slow for my liking.

No

Did Cisco Board Series live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Cisco Board Series go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Cisco Board Series again?

No

WebEx is mostly late to the game of slick video conferencing tools. We mostly use WebEx when client teams use it. The tool itself is slow and the interface is clunky. The tool mostly does the job, but there are better options available.
