Overall Satisfaction with Cisco Webex Meetings

I mostly use Webex Meetings when working with support desks outside of the company assisting me with issues. We have tried various solutions in-house, including Zoom, GoToMeeting, and Webex, but our company has recently moved to using Microsoft Teams.
  • Simple to use.
  • Easy to install.
  • There is a very easy flow between participants.
  • Integration with Macs can be problematic.
  • Sometimes people have to call in because the call me feature doesn't work.
  • It would be nice if we could use multiple rooms at once.
  • Meetings can be held without need to physically be present. Very big for a national company.
  • I have only used the free version and it works great!
  • Allows sites with varying bandwidths to meet together so we don't have to worry about upgrading data lines at all of our locations.
I have not had to use the Cisco support team for Webex Meetings since it has been so easy to use.
We were using it as an as-needed basis. Like I previously said, I mostly used it for connecting with outside support for technical help, including with Cisco tech support. Others in my company have used it for meetings that span the USA. Even though it has been easy to use, we are transitioning to Microsoft Teams now to integrate with our other O365 products.
  • Lotus Notes email
  • Lotus Notes calendar
Didn't work out well for us. One thing that was nice is that Webex can build a .ics file that was usable to import into out Lotus Notes calendars.
Cisco Webex is a very good product in my opinion, and stacks up well than any of these. We are going with Microsoft Teams now to better fully integrate all of our O365 platform.
WebEx is very easy to use and configure so I have not had to open a support ticket for it. However, while I have not had to use Cisco Support specifically for WebEx, I have no doubt that they would provide swift and comprehensive service if I needed to use them based on other interactions with Cisco support.

Do you think Webex Meetings delivers good value for the price?

Not sure

Are you happy with Webex Meetings's feature set?

Yes

Did Webex Meetings live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Webex Meetings go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Webex Meetings again?

Yes

I have never had a Webex Meeting that had to be cancelled due to unavailability on either mine nor the presenters side. A very solid product that always seems to work.
I have been in meetings that range from 2 people to over a hundred and with those people all connecting from all around the world. It is a very scalable product that is a great experience for all users.
I have not experienced issues with slow loading pages or poor experience. From what I have experienced, all participants have been pleased with the interactive experience provided by Webex Meetings.
Simple to use and integrates with almost everything, especially Microsoft Office products. Even in cases where it did not fully integrate with some of our software - specifically with Lotus Notes - parts of it did. For example, I was not able to directly tie WebEx to my Lotus Notes calendar but was able to download .ics files to open with my calendar.
It has been very useful to get our business leaders from all around the country to be able to meet in one place without having to fly them to a physical locale. Webex Meetings does a great job in helping large groups to collaborate and share ideas with each other in an easy and user-friendly format. I also like how it lets people dial in on their phones so that they do not have to rely on using built-in speakers and microphones from laptops.

Cisco Webex Experience

One of the nicest things I have seen is the ability to start Webex Meeting directly from Teams. While my company has been leaning more on Microsoft Teams than Webex Meetings, I feel that they both are a comparable experience.
Most of the end users in my company appreciate having all of their collaboration tools in one place. Cisco's suite of tools fits this bill quite well. While my company uses the tools integrated with other products, I have seen that presenters using Cisco collaboration products have been able to give very entertaining and interactive meetings.
Webex is great for starting a secure meeting with others in a very easy manner. The ability to assign roles and how participants interact is very easy to implement for even the first time user.

Using Cisco Webex Meetings

My organization has decided to use a different remote meetings product that we have access to due to other purchases. I still find use in participating in meetings via WebEx when working with outside vendors, support, etc.
My organization has decided to use a different remote meetings product that we have access to due to other purchases and therefore does not support WebEx in-house on an on-going basis.
  • Contact with non-company support sources.
  • Participation in large web conferences not initiated by our own staff.
  • It could be used as an alternative to provide support and training to remote personnel.
  • We did not use WebEx for a long enough time to find unexpected or innovative ways to use the product.
  • WebEx will always be an option when setting up meetings with vendors or customers that do not have access to Microsoft Teams.

Evaluating Webex Meetings and Competitors

  • Product Usability
  • Product Reputation
  • Vendor Reputation
WebEx has become ubiquitous with ease and reliability in the public sphere. For this reason we were using WebEx as our primary remote meetings resource before recent changes.
I believe that we followed a reasoned and productive path in choosing our meetings software. My organization has decided to use a different remote meetings product that we have access to due to other purchases.
