Overall Satisfaction with Cisco Webex Meetings

Used across the enterprise mainly as a meeting tool; conf calls, content display, screen sharing for collaboration, and some vendor support calls.
  • Webex Desktop app.
  • Webex mobile app.
  • Ease of scheduling meetings.
  • There have been some stability issues encountered.
  • Support via VAR has been troublesome at times.
  • Been a game changer during Covid-19.
  • Of course has been a hit to the budget due to increased usage.
  • Bottom line it has been a solid tool that has made the transition to remote working for so many a reality. Webex and tools like it will continue to grow.
Again Webex is a great product and works well "out of the box." The challenge is many orgs use MS products and it is embedded within their environment so if they can easily link it in vs having another product like Webex. The issue I believe with Teams is getting it set up to work seamlessly with external entities. Don't believe this is a huge deal but extra steps must be taken.
We have encountered issues with availability. To be fair, I believe a number of them were due to the increased usage related to Covid-19 which of course no one saw coming.
Can't say that I know a lot about this beyond our org utilizing at least some pieces of Webex across the org. I am not aware of any issues with it being rolled out.
I am not aware of integrations within our environment.
I think it is well suited for large meetings with groups internal and external due to its ease of use and most are familiar with the product.

Cisco Webex Experience

I have found it to be a very easy tool to use but have not used very many of the enhanced features.
We are a Cisco networking shop; routers, switches, DNAC, CMX, ... but to be honest there have been so many name changes for the different collaboration products from Cisco I can't say with certainty what all is being used.
Webex has met the needs of our org I believe at least for me personally. I think the challenge is for example MS Teams. As many org use MS products it is embedded within their environment so if they can easily link it in they have a leg up vs having another product like Webex.
