Overall Satisfaction with Cision Communications Cloud

Currently, Cision Communications Cloud is only used in our Public Relations department which consists of two employees. We primarily use it to look up contact information for media outlets and other writers. We've also used the TrendKite feature to monitor media coverage for both of our clients, which has proven to be very helpful in our monthly reporting.
  • Great at providing a full list of contacts for each outlet we're trying to reach.
  • TrendKite provides great insights for coverage, especially in terms of reach and SEO.
  • Robust system that provides what many others cannot.
  • Would like more features to flag contacts as inactive.
  • Would like to be able to modify contacts already listed, for those that may have switched jobs and Cision hasn't updated their files yet.
  • Oftentimes, the interface can feel "clunky," constantly having to click through things to find the information I'm looking for.
  • We are a small team of two, so Cision has been a great tool to help us extend our reach, in terms of finding new outlets we can reach.
  • TrendKite's media monitoring services provide a great tool on tracking what our client's competitors are doing.
Our team has recently started a Muck Rack trial. While there are a few things they can offer that Cision can't, Cision still proves to be the most robust platform currently available. Cision allows for detailed searches that you simply can't get with other platforms, or are only available at an added cost.

Cision is a robust tool that provides our team with all the information we need to best serve our clients. The only things holding me back from giving it a perfect score are that at times, the interface can feel a little clunky, meaning we have to click through a number of pages to find the information we are looking for.
