Overall Satisfaction with Cision Communications Cloud

As a PR firm, we use Cision Communications Cloud largely as a contact database and to send mass email distributions and press releases. We maintain dozens of curated lists of press contacts and use them to send pitches and press releases on a day-to-day basis.
  • Helps us build curated lists of press contacts
  • Builds and stores email distribution templates
  • We would love if Cision Communications Cloud provided more robust contact information related to non-traditional media outlets, such as podcasts.
  • We wouldn't be able to function as a PR firm without this sort of database.
Hootsuite was limited in its range of contact information and media outlet profiles.

I think Cision Communications Cloud is perfect for those in the PR business. Though, I have been disappointed by Cision's lack of contact information for podcast hosts, producers, and bookers. I love the email distribution performance metric tracker and often use it to inform my pitching follow-up tasks.
