Overall Satisfaction with Citrix Gateway (formerly NetScaler Unified Gateway)
We use Citrix Netscaler Gateway as a platform for secure external access to virtualized applications in our work environment. Citrix Netscaler Gateway provide secure and balanced access from outside our hospital to our users to the main healthcare applications and virtualized machines. It is one more layer of security in addition to the firewall.
- Provides level 4 load balancing to deliver better performance for applications and services
- WAF (application), proxy and VPN firewall support
- Monitor the performance of applications even in real time to improve the UX
- Configuration console is unfriendly
- A good knowledge of the product is necessary for its production

We chose Citrix Netscaler Gateway for its wide market presence and its great experience over time. Although the implementation time may be longer than in the other solutions, I think the results are better and it allows configuration with greater capacity than the others. The cost is similar in all the solutions seen.
