Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Citrix NetScaler is a big player for us. Without it, we would not function. We use it across our whole organization (manufacturing, shipping, sales, etc.) which is international including the Netherlands, China, and the US. We utilize our Citrix environment from anywhere because of this awesome technology. Citrix NetScaler is definitely worth its ROI.

Alternatives Considered

A10 Networks AX Series

Citrix NetScaler is much more cost-effective than the A10 series and I think it does its job even better. I have used A10 in the past and while they did fine, the did not overly impress me and certainly didn't do enough for the dollar amount that they are attached to.

Likelihood to Recommend

I think it is well suited for a multitude of different environments/settings/industries. It can deliver on for small, medium or large size companies. If you have a non-existent, small or large IT department in your company, Citrix will work well with all of them and all those environments.
