Use Cases and Deployment Scope

The entire organization uses ShareFile. It addresses three distinct organizational needs:

The ability to share large files by link or by the document.
The documents shared can be password protected.
The ability to electronically sign documents and to send them to third parties for countersignature.

Pros and Cons

Uploading files from your PC, server or cloud storage is smoothly accomplished.
It is easy to set up documents for signature, date, and capacity.
It integrates with Outlook to send large email attachments when the size is either too large for your program or the recipient's program.

It can be difficult for me to find the list of ShareFile "sent documents" and to determine their status without opening the document.

Return on Investment

It has made the creation of template documents that need to be circulated for signature a simpler and more efficient process.

DocuSign and Adobe Sign (formerly EchoSign)
