Overall Satisfaction with ClickUp

ClickUp helps us keep track of the total pipeline of loans. We have spaces broken into individual areas and then the active company pipeline. The breakdowns make it easy to see what is happening and what will soon be happening as well as manage repetitive smaller daily tasks. The communication that can be automatically triggered is great, especially with the app.
  • Task Overview
  • Communication
  • Follow Up
  • File storage/retrieval
  • An intro to set up ClickUp-related communication. Essentially everything is turned on by default and there probably should be a walkthrough asking what would be best for you.
  • Two apps on the Google store.
  • Time savings due to lack of repetitive emails/texts/calls.
  • We use this over Microsoft Teams and Teams is included in our Microsoft Suite, that should tell you something.
  • Having another redundant time tracker has helped us not miss deadlines.
We use ClickUp as an active workload tracker. We have daily conversations about each task in the company space. This not only keeps everyone up to date about what is going on, but it allows a fresh set of eyes that wouldn't normally have looked. We've caught quite a few errors or conflicts with these conversations.
ClickUp really helped us come together as a team. We didn't have other processes in place to bring us more together as a team and ClickUp has given us that.
I haven't used Teams in 2 years now, but when I did ClickUp did almost everything better than Teams did. I'm sure Teams has bridged the gap since then, but at this point, ClickUp does things so well that there is no need to go elsewhere at this time.

Do you think ClickUp delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with ClickUp's feature set?

Yes

Did ClickUp live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of ClickUp go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy ClickUp again?

Yes

If you have an office where people are in and out of a particular file and you don't want to have to follow up with 3 different people where we stand on the file. Being able to communicate with each other, regardless of where you all physically are, about your particular contribution and not having to run everyone down is a great benefit. A scenario negative scenario about ClickUp is the file management system. Sometimes on the app, it won't let me download a file. Other times on the desktop files won't upload at all and you just have to come back to it later. Also if you pull a file out of a ZIP file or your email and drop it directly into ClickUp, the file will show up in the folder but you won't be able to open it. You have to download the file to your computer and then upload it. The workaround is doable, but annoying in a minor way.

Using ClickUp

4 - Loan originators (2), loan processor (1-2 depending on file, overlaping with ops manager), operations manager (1).
1 - I have more of a tech background than anyone here so all basic tech support is mine to attempt to fix.
  • Organization
  • At-a-glance daily workload
  • File storage
  • I can't think of any unexpected or innovative ways we use ClickUp.
  • Using the shared documents more when we need to collaborate more on one.
It does everything we need it to, doesn't cost the most, and there seems to be a drive at ClickUp to deliver a great product. Once I feel a company isn't fighting for its customers then I have a reason to start looking elsewhere.

Evaluating ClickUp and Competitors

  • Price
  • Product Features
  • Product Usability
Price vs features. We're not looking for the cheapest thing, but also not looking the just pay for a thing because we need it.
We went through trails of ClickUp, Asana, and Teams. We all liked ClickUp the most. I don't feel there is a reason to redo the process again or change how we did the selection process.

ClickUp Implementation

Just have an open mind that you're using a new system and there is probably a way to do whatever it is you're looking to do. Support will help you.
Change management was a major issue with the implementation - That we were all running around hoping everyone was doing their jobs correctly. Oversight and redundancy has help us catch errors before they're major problems.
  • Just bruised egos on how unorganized we all were as a company.

ClickUp Training

It was easy for me personally, but I have more tech background than your standard person. What I would suggest would be that ClickUp review how a client is using the platform and then give a yearly or so call to the owner to see if they can help more.

Configuring ClickUp

Just right for this type of product. When we were setting it up I don't remember spending more than a day or two talking back and forth about what we needed/wanted. There were some customization after that, but minor and was able to be fixed that day.
Just keep an open mind and play around with the options.
No - we have not done any customization to the interface
No - we have not done any custom code
No, we're not power users that need advanced options (at least at this time).

ClickUp Support

I've only used it one time and the issue was resolved quickly and to my satisfaction. This is what I personally want, I don't need people who act like we're going to be best friends while we solve this problem. Fix it as quickly as possible and on to the next thing.
ProsCons
Quick Resolution
Good followup
Knowledgeable team
Problems get solved
Kept well informed
No escalation required
Immediate help available
Support understands my problem
Support cares about my success
Quick Initial Response
None
I did not, didn't know it was an option.
I honestly don't remember the issue, it was when we first got ClickUp (long time ago). I do remember that the issue was solved quickly and correctly. That feeling sticks with me more than the actual issue.

It's like Chipotles in my area, some of them are awful and some are great (but they all have delicious food). Can I really recall all the issues at the bad ones? No, but I remember standing in the restaurant frustrated and thinking I'm never coming to this location again.

Using ClickUp

It's pretty easy to figure out without having to invest a bunch of time researching how to use it. The additional different views and themes can really help you personalize how you like to see information, both physically and aesthetically.
ProsCons
Like to use
Relatively simple
Easy to use
Technical support not required
Well integrated
Consistent
Quick to learn
Convenient
Feel confident using
Familiar
None
  • Moving tasks
  • Assigning tasks
  • Setting up your lists
  • File retrieval (at times)
  • File upload (at times)

ClickUp Reliability

We have 3 different jobs that all utilize ClickUp and I haven't heard any complaints.
I can't recall of any time ClickUp has been down for more than a few seconds. The only availability option is file retrieval at times, some times it just sits there trying to open a file, but again this happens very infrequently.
Updates are almost seamless and the pages load quickly.

Integrating ClickUp

We haven't used it.
Maybe have an account representative explain to the clients about what integrations are and how they're beneficial to you.

Relationship with Clickup

The person that did that has no complaints.
I've never had an issue with ClickUp that we weren't able to resolve quickly.
I did not do this part of the process.
Didn't help with the purchase.

Upgrading ClickUp

Yes - The upgrades to the system are all seamless. A dialogue box pops up letting you know there is an update and to get that update you have to click the box. So if you want to wait you can.
  • I honestly don't read the patch notes.
  • Nothing I can think of at this time, maybe a place for upcoming changes.
