Overall Satisfaction with ClickUp

We started using ClickUp on the development team as a tool to help track our projects, but we didn't want every department to use a different task-tracking tool. So Marketing got on board, and by now the entire company uses it to track progress on projects and tasks. It is extremely useful to track notes and assets on a project, the progress, of course, but to be able to check on things without having to bug other people is great.
  • I like that I can create dashboards to track progress of different reports.
  • Being able to customize the status of tasks and projects is great.
  • The different spaces with user restrictions are great, too, so that no one from development comes screwing around in our Marketing stuff.
  • When you first boot it up, it seems to want to load a random list rather than the home screen. I wish I could customize the startup screen.
  • When I sort a list to view it the way I want to, it gets all jumbled up for other users. I want to set my view without messing up others' views.
  • It has improved the effectiveness and timeliness of our marketing team.
  • It has helped us communicate interdepartmentally.
When we have meetings, there is always a person with ClickUp open on their device. As meeting items are discussed, points are added to ClickUp directly so that things can get done. We are able to add assignees and watchers from all over our organization to keep people up to date on what is going on. We are able to pass projects from ideation to creation very easily because we can pass the same tasks between departments. It's great.
We have several repeating projects, such as webinars, blogs, and new web page creations, and each of these has several tasks (or subtasks) that need to be accomplished for success. We are able to create templates that help us to streamline the process. This saves us loads of time and makes sure that we don't forget steps when we're building these items.
ClickUp isn't as clean as Asana, but it has more features than Asana, which makes it nice to be able to share with development and other departments. I do miss some of the "fun" features Asana had, but ClickUp works for us quite nicely, even without the cat and dog jokes.

Do you think ClickUp delivers good value for the price?

Not sure

Are you happy with ClickUp's feature set?

Yes

Did ClickUp live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of ClickUp go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy ClickUp again?

Yes

If you're looking for a "meets the needs of both worlds" task manager, this is the one. Many developers prefer Jira, and many marketers prefer Asana. We found that ClickUp met the needs of both parties and satisfied us in the same way a good bidet satisfies us: It helps us stay clean.
