Overall Satisfaction with ClickUp
ClickUp has completely changed my business. I took over a financial services book of business with about 1500 total clients. The old advisor did most things outside of technology, so it was a complete disaster when I took over and tried to become digital. Once I found ClickUp, everything changed. It allows me to create tasks that keep track of the hundreds of things that need to be tracked to properly take care of my clients. I love that I can import lists of clients with all the relevant details for each task. I also love that I can do a task while in another task. This really helps me stay on track and not get distracted. I do everything from lists of birthdays to annual financial reviews with my clients to individual one-off tasks as my clients need things.
Pros
- They are extremely fast at getting back to me and fixing bugs.
- The tasks and lists can be as simple or as complicated as you need.
- Normally, the system runs very quickly with very little lag time.
Cons
- I would like to see the ability to add a reoccurring due date either through uploading a spreadsheet, or a mass apply.
- ClickUp saves us the same amount of time as a part time assistant in the office.
- My assistant always says she has no idea how we survived before ClickUp.
My assistant and I work in two different states. ClickUp makes it possible for me to always know what's going on, even if my assistant isn't at the office or if she has gone home for the day. A quick search for the task I'm wondering about, and I know exactly what the last step taken was and what it's currently waiting on.
We currently have a process that automatically creates a task with subtasks for every meeting that I book with my clients. This has been a complete game-changer for us. Knowing that I won't ever forget to do the follow-up work from a client meeting is the best feeling in the world, and it doesn't require me to hire another assistant to make it happen.
I know I have checked out other products, but I can't remember their names of them. ClickUp has always stood out to me because of its ability to be customized. Other "task" based apps all seem to force me to create tasks in a certain manner, and I'm always finding workarounds to run my business the way I want to. ClickUp lets me choose how easy or how complicated I want each list and task to look.
