Overall Satisfaction with ClickUp

We started out looking for a simple way to get us on track. We both felt we were moving in the same direction but we were pulling the other along.
We decided on a small scale ramp up plan to get us on the same page. After some planning and also the lack of, we were off!
It was small at first but we were making progress. Now we use it daily to allocate tasks and keep each other, as well as ourselves on task.
The largest part of the last sentence, on task. We are more productive thanks to ClickUp!
  • Tasks
  • Reminders on a Calendar
  • Workflow
  • Customer Service
  • Can be buggy
  • Implementation
  • payroll saved is about 5 hours per month
  • worker fatigue is down
  • engagement is WAY up
It is almost akin to phone calls and text messaging. People will gladly send a text message but will not answer a call. Being able to comment on a task, item, subtask, is amazing. Our team chats almost exclusively through ClickUp. This may be the biggest item our team likes. There is no need to swap between applications.
The scheduling of meetings alone has been a plus. Slack is another program that has given us the opportunity to communicate and add items to ClickUp without much effort. I hope that ClickUp continues to add additional resources for productivity and communication within the application.
I would say that ClickUp provides a tool for some that is exactly what they need. Monday may provide that for others, and Asana, Trello, and Dubsado may provide the answers many are looking for. I think it comes down to personal needs, preference, and also cost for many. For us, ClickUp does what we need at the price we want to pay. It exceeds our expectations everyday as well.

Do you think ClickUp delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with ClickUp's feature set?

No

Did ClickUp live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of ClickUp go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy ClickUp again?

Yes

If you are looking for a PM or CRM, this may be the tool for you. I have used many others and they all do mostly the same things. Some do items better than others but ClickUp seems to bridge the gap we needed better than all others. Cost was an important part for us as well as we only needed a smaller number of seats than some will contract for.

Using ClickUp

5 - We use the white board feature to plan our design and build business. Once this is completed we use the other lists to compile tasks for the team. This is how we follow o n progress from beginning to completion of a project. By integrating Slack with our ClickUp we can stay on top of everything very easily.
1 - I have taken on the task of being our in house support team. Yes, a team of one. I have gone through the certification process to be sure I have as much knowledge as possible to be able to quickly help with any issues. I also try to stay current by watching all videos, taking all educational classes that are provided.
  • White Boards for design
  • Lists for individual tasks
  • Integrations for communicating
  • Slack!
  • Adding the extension to Google Chrome
  • email integration
  • we hope to integrate forms
  • we are also looking to increase the number of users
  • adding more guests
We have so much invested at this time and we LOVE it!

Evaluating ClickUp and Competitors

Yes - We had been testing several systems along with ClickUp. My wife was pretty set on Dubsado and Trello. I was not a fan of either based on the cost and also the functions. I had been testing Monday.com and was pretty pleased but the cost compared to ClickUp is a no brainer. Lastly, once I got in and began using ClickUp, I knew I was not going to be using Monday, Trello, Dubsado, Teamwork, Asana and so on.
  • Price
  • Product Features
  • Product Usability
When it came to the nuts and bolts of it all, it was the usability. I had used others, well tested and did trials, but CLickUp was the best for us. They all can be intimidating when first starting out however I was sold once I got in and got going. Add this to the price and features, it can't be beat.
I would have done exactly the same. We decided to be fair and try as large of a sample as we could. We gave ourselves a hard finish date for the trials and we each took one project and used in each of the products. We then had our team go in and see which they preferred and gave feedback on the good the bad and the ugly.
