Overall Satisfaction with Cloudflare

Cloudflare was used to manage DNS and as a content delivery network for website caching. Used a managed WordPress hosting provider and we needed to ensure media and other static content were delivered with edge nodes for faster delivery.
  • Simple, easy-to-use interface
  • CDN serves content across edge network
  • Repeated cache dumping becomes annoying when working on site CSS.
  • CDN delivers website assets faster decreasing load time.
  • DNS management is relatively easy.
I jumped right into Cloudflare as I had prior experience. There is a WordPress integration which makes it a little easier to dump some of the caches right from your website vs logging into the Cloudflare back end every time.
Support is good with Cloudflare. If you submit a ticket, you generally get a response in less than a day (often the same day). Their support team seems knowledgeable and I never had a problem with getting things the way they were supposed to be working.

Do you think Cloudflare delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Cloudflare's feature set?

Yes

Did Cloudflare live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of Cloudflare go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy Cloudflare again?

Yes

Cloudflare has a wide variety of service offerings that go well beyond DNS and CDN. They're well known for the security products and services they provide like DDOS protection. The free plan they offer is probably good enough for a small business.
