Overall Satisfaction with Cloudflare

We use Cloudflare as a means for many security aspects of the network. From web servers to DNS to load balancing. They have many products covering the gamut of cyber security, specifically web security. Our websites are all protected on many levels with tools that Cloudflare includes, and we're always on the lookout for their next tool. Specifically for my job, I use Cloudflare DNS protection to keep hackers away and lessen the potential of DDOS or other related types of attacks. Our websites run solid and do not go down as they have in the past.

  • Smooth licensing and feature addition
  • Useful webinars on new tips and tricks
  • DNS protection via DDOS avoidance on websites is amazing
  • Web tools to keep your site running like load balancing and built in DNS
  • Cost is fairly high, but you're paying for a great product
  • Upgrades to the web apps are often; sometimes, you lose features until they're complete
  • Migration over from existing tools can be a pain
  • Could use additional features related to cloud based services
  • Saving us time chasing to patch all the latest vulnerabilities
  • Saving money having multiple on prem products doing the same features they offer
  • Has likely protected (security wise) us in many ways we don't even recognize
  • We have made our money back on this product in saved admin/engineering time alone
  • Our techs have taken advantage of all the features available to us, giving them much-needed functions we could not get through any other one product
Onboarding was quick and easy. Training got all our engineers and techs up to speed, and their professional services made migration fairly easy (though there was still a lot to do). We started seeing value right out of the gate as we can easily spin up reports of all the ways it's stopped the bad guys from getting us. From the day the installation was complete, we were getting onto the dashboard and using features right away.
Support is great, and you generally get a fast response for any issues you bring up. We do have some training time left, so it would be nice to get our newer users up to date quicker. If there was a fast track for higher-level techs and engineers that we could get them up to speed, that would be awesome.

If you have a nervous board, managers, or higher-ups when it comes to cyber security, then having a name like Cloudflare is instantly calming. When we have a security incident or alerts on new threats in the wild, we always know we're already covered with Cloudflare. If you have a large number of web servers and sensitive content on the web, it's the perfect opportunity to see what Cloudflare could do for your organization.
