Overall Satisfaction with Comcast Business VOIP (VoiceEdge)

All employees have a physical phone on their desks with their own extension numbers and phone numbers. We can direct dial their phones when out of the building and their emails all have a direct phone number in their signatures. When in the building, we can just call extensions. The voice prompts on the main menu are great and help route callers appropriately.
  • Callers can select their options of where to route.
  • User extensions on each phone.
  • Direct phone numbers for employee phones.
  • Awful interface to manage caller menu in my opinion.
  • Awful interface to manage employee extensions / numbers in my opinion.
  • I feel that the iPhone app is a bit overly complicated.
  • Extension calling
  • Each employee has their own phone number.
  • Phone option menu for callers that routes calls appropriately.
  • Works for what needs to be done, just seems expensive.
We've used Allworx phone systems onsite. They are the most expensive option when it comes to VOIP. We noticed that we paid for equipment over service with them. Service was great - and pennies on the dollar of what Comcast charges. But the equipment costs thousands of dollars. The use of the system was a bit easier with Allworx, but we solely switched because of the equipment cost.

Yes

Would you buy Comcast Business VOIP (VoiceEdge) again?

Yes

Good for any situation where there are multiple employees who need to be reached by customers or in-house. Also cuts down on Robo calls because they typically can't / don't press numbers to choose from a menu. Can't really see this system being worth the price in a smaller-sized operation though, as there are far cheaper options that provide a much nicer management interface.
