Overall Satisfaction with Concrete5

As a freelancer, I have set up Concrete5 for several companies. I do not use Concrete5 in my organization.
  • Concrete5 has a small learning curve. Easy to set up, quick to learn and easy to use.
  • Concrete5 is perfect for the non-web tech (i.e. marketing or sales person) to update or make changes on their site. Drop and drag building makes it easy for anyone with no programming skills to update their site or make changes and edits.
  • Concrete5 is fast. Lightweight and quick with minimal scripting slowing everything down.
  • Not as robust or well known as WordPress or Drupal.
  • JQuery conflicts seem to always be a potential problem.
I believe WordPress and Drupal to be superior products. But Concrete5 holds its own against them. I selected Concrete5 for real estate and marketing firms for the ease of use and updating. The drop and drag editor is hard to beat.
Concrete5 is great for any website, but in particular real estate and marketing websites. The super easy, intuitive and drop and drag building is superb for non technical people to keep the site looking fresh and updated.
