Overall Satisfaction with Concur Travel and Expense

We're using Concur only for the US subsidiary of our global company. Concur expense helps us with paying invoices (via capture) and for creating expense reports for our employees. We just implemented QuickBooks through Concur to bring this activity in house.
  • The expense portion is user-friendly as it allows us to capture receipts via a photo and by using the application, we can upload them directly into the expense report.
  • The travel section is streamlined and offers plenty of options to choose following our company guidelines.
  • The travel section did not allow me to add a flight to a hotel that was reserved. Not sure if this has been fixed but I had 2 different 'trips' in the system for the same travel.
  • We haven't had the chance to use travel and expense as much as we'd like to. We're a small company, and I don't think we've hit that benchmark of ROI quite yet. I have no doubt we will get there once we grow.
For purposes of transparency of costs associated with travel, this is a good tool. I feel this helps me manage the costs. Because we use their travel integrated with JTB, we can get the best pricing for all travel needs. As our business grows, this will add more value for our company.

I never had an issue using this myself nor did my employees. It was a smooth and easy process for all involved.

The approval feature has been very useful since we used first and second layer approvals.
I can see this system being used seamlessly across multiple departments but we have not had a need do so.
I recall this process being relatively easy. Our contacts at Concur were responsive and the overall timeline was quick.

Using Concur Travel and Expense
