Overall Satisfaction with Concur Travel and Expense
Our entire organization uses Concur Travel & Expense when booking trip expenses. It helps provide a unified experience for all users, regardless of level, to submit their expenses accurately. In addition, planning trips using Concur is quite simple and provides useful documentation for your travels.
- Booking a flight and/or hotel is a simple task in Concur, due to the clean page layouts.
- Categorizing your travel expenses is relatively straightforward (i.e. submitting a taxi receipt vs a restaurant tip vs a hotel folio, etc.).
- The interface is clean, but could have more useful UI features.
- Attaching receipts works fine, but could perhaps be sped up with a better design.
- Using Concur typically saved us 1-2 hours of submission time compared to our prior service provider.
- Attaching receipts is quick and easy, which contributes heavily to the time saved.
I had a former job using Oracle Travel & Expense. Concur is less fully-featured, but is cleaner and simpler in its UI. I also think that Concur's system is easier to follow for submitting expense receipts and categorizing transactions.
Our company integrated Concur with a credit card company that select business leaders used for their personal expenses. This helped maintain a consistent UI system for submitting any expenses, whether for travel or personal.
More employees are empowered to travel and visit other job sites. Accounting is able to book more accurate journal entries because of the expense categorizing system and required receipt backup for each expense. Finance is better able to plan and budget for travel expenses because of our comfort with Concur's reliability and consistency.
Managers have more free time to themselves because their employees can independently submit their own travel expenses, due to the ease-of-use of Concur's system. Accounting and finance both benefit from having reliable expense submissions with documentation backup.
