Overall Satisfaction with Concur Travel and Expense

My entire organization uses Concur Travel and Expense, both web-based and mobile versions, to track expenses for company credit card and non-credit card spending. Concur Travel and Expense has been very cost-effective and efficient in tracking our expenses for reimbursement. A report reviewing and approving is a fast and straightforward process to get reimbursed without the hassle of paper forms.

  • The Mobile version is quick and easy to use while traveling
  • The screen sharing option is nice if you have questions
  • Customizable expense categories
  • Nice reminder feature
  • The receipt picture taking could use little perfecting
  • The breaking down of multi expense items can be tricky
  • Searching for past reports could be more intuitive
  • Definite time saver vs. most competitors
  • Excellent and easy to use Audit functionality
  • Much faster reimbursement turnaround

I found Concur Travel and Expense to be much better than Certify.
ExpenseIt compliments Concur Travel and Expense very well.

Well suited expense reporting and tracking platform, you can search for flights/hotels/car rentals within the software and book as well. Mobile receipt pictures and uploading work well on the go to avoid misplacing or having a pile to add after a long business trip. Support is excellent, and the overall user interface is easy to use.


From an employee perspective, it's effortless to use, fully functional for most cases. I cannot comment on the product from an admin perspective.
Concur Travel and Expense very easy to use right out of the box with relatively easy customizable options. By far, the best expense reporting platform I have used across my 25 years in IT. Mileage reimbursement for adding non-itemized receipts are very easy to use. Works well from management to the end-user type employees although the booking aspect could be a little more competitive, it doesn't seem like it searches for best rates.

The product is very intuitive to use and has the feature sets we utilize the most easily accessible. Out of the box is worked really well with very little customization to achieve out goals. Compared to previous expense and travel reimbursement programs, I find Concur has been the easiest to use
  • Retaining receipts for future use cases is nice
  • Tracking mileage is a breeze
  • Removing paper receipts for digital makes travel that much easier
  • combining expense reports is a nice feature
  • It's not the cheapest solution on the market
  • would be nice to see the added expense without refreshing
  • Can get hung if you add too many expenses at once
After switching to Concur, we found much less questions from users thus reducing the administrative overhead
