Overall Satisfaction with Concur Travel and Expense
Our team utilized Concur for travel expenses based on projects in the marketing strategy for each quarter. For my part, I would purchase video equipment and then itemize what projects would make use of these items. The record served as both a means of identifying project costs and also project item inventories.
- Concur makes itemizing costs quick and easy. The categories and options for each line item are laid out clearly and effectively to help make expensing simple.
- Concur Travel keeps a solid history of records during travel. On one of my trips, I lost a flight due to airline error. Not only did Concur quickly get me back in the air, but it also found my previous record and resumed it, even when the airline couldn't.
- Concur Travel groups everything about travel into one space. It's like a digital assistant tracking my flights, hotels, costs, and more.
- Initially, Concur Travel didn't recognize that I was trying to book a flight with a return date after a week's time. This might have been user error, but it wasn't entirely clear why this wasn't working.
- Some of the fields of Concur Expense seem to be the same category or area of expense. I had trouble at times identifying which category was best for my type of expense.
- I'd like to see project tracking within Concur. My projects sometimes stretched more than one event, and it would be nice to not just notate with a project name but also observe a project's trajectory of cost.
