Overall Satisfaction with Concur Travel and Expense
We use Concur Travel and Expense across our entire organization as our central expense management system. We are able to set policies and limits on what can different departments are able to spend before being flagged, and produce reports based off of expense categories. The flexibility of this software makes it easy for companies both small and large to use.
- Mobile app makes inputting expenses on the road a breeze. Don't want to use the app, the website is just as nice!
- Want to upload a receipt to your expense report? You have multiple options: Scan the receipt in the app, upload a picture via the web, forward the receipt via an email.
- Integration into travel agencies to act as a central management for booking travel is nice.
- The workflow and notifications make all aspects of approving expenses across different departments easy.
- I wish you could use the app to automatically track miles driven using GPS rather than a manually inputting mileage.
- Integration with travel agencies sometimes means you MUST make changes on airline tickets through the travel agency. Not awesome if you fly southwest.
- Allows us to control expenses via departmental or company-wide policies, which has reduced over-spending across the board.

Concur [Travel and Expense] is waaaay better than an Excel spreadsheet! Honestly, I haven't used any other product to track expenses and Concur Travel and Expense is my first and last choice.
With Covid and remote working, Concur Travel and Expense's centralized web management has enabled us to keep on with business as usual. The OCR in receipts is a nice feature, and automatic importing of credit card purchases from your company card helps everyone ensure they're not missing an expense. Speaking of receipts, I love how they have multiple ways to get the same receipt uploaded into your account (seems simple, but important).
Getting a large company that has a multitude of departments, managers, and policies to input their expenses in one place is nothing short of a miracle. This application is a no-brainer for our end users to install and use, which is great for our company because we don't employ rocket scientists. Without Concur, turning in expenses used to be a DRAG, but this application makes me look forward to getting my reimbursement check!
