Overall Satisfaction with Concur Travel and Expense

Concur Travel and Expense has been rolled out in the major countries for our organization to replace the earlier expense system(s). It is being used across all departments.
  • Simple UI
  • Fast page upload
  • SSO works pretty well
  • For new users, raising their first expense report is not so intuitive. There are request, expense, approval tabs on the opening page. Generally, they get confused about whether to select request or expense.
  • For the team processing the expenses, we see that the wrong expense type is selected by the end-user. Having a short description of the expense type will help the end-users.
  • The Edit multiple fields feature for all the expense lines is not shown until all items are selected.
  • Overall TAT improved
  • Expense logs help in improving audit performance
  • Reduced effort of expense processing teams
Both the suites provide comparable features, with Concur providing better User interface and faster page refresh. The data refresh rate is also better compared to Oracle.
We use the SAP ERP (multiple instances in different geographies). The rollout of Concur Travel and Expense was seamless across all SAP instances. We faced minor issues when integrating, but these were addressed by the SAP SMEs and implementation partners as soon as these were identified. Overall the Concur Travel and Expense solutions fit in well with the organisation's objectives.
We did adapt quickly to concur with a series of trainings to end users.
All the users are trained on raising and monitoring the status of expenses raised on concur. This has eliminated to & fro communication and effort, both from the user side as well as the processing team.

The app version of Concur Travel and Expense works well. It is seamless if one has used the concur web version. The general features available for expense processing are all available in concur. The system can provide options to probe for recurring expenses based on user settings. This will ensure that the user does not miss raising the requests on time.
