Overall Satisfaction with Constant Contact
We used Constant Contact to send our newsletters as well as segmented emails. We would create lists of audiences and import them into CC and then send these emails to our recipients. Our account management and digital marketing trams collaborated on these emails. Our goal was to find a scalable system to send targeted emails. For some clients we used integrations with their CRM or forms to directly input data into CC and make segmenting easier.

- They are not a CRM but their contact management could use some improvements
- Pricing could be more affordable
- Would love to see better support when needed
- Strong ROI for some of the more basic companies/clients
- Was not able to gauge true ROI in more complicated companies
- Improved accountability of team
Constant contact was perfect for our needs for many clients, it wasn’t overly robust, but powerful enough to see strong ROI. With regards to the competitor tools, amongst standard ESP there’s not a huge difference as they all essentially work the same, it’s just about pricing models and which tool interface you prefer. Comparing it to automation and CRM tools isn’t fair or truly comparable
