Overall Satisfaction with CorelDRAW Graphics Suite
We use CorelDRAW Graphics Suite to edit images and help design departmental letterheads, backgrounds, and logos. It is only used by myself, but at times I use it for work for all departments in the organization. It allows us to create edit and images with higher quality than that allowed using tools included with Windows.
- High quality bitmap image editing
- High quality Vector Graphics creation, management, and editing
- Bitmap editing is extremely slow to open and save in the newest version.
- Vector creation and editing is sometimes confusing.
- We are able to maintain internal artwork without the need for an artistic department.
- We are able to produce high quality images internally.
We actually do use the Adobe Cloud product line for some editing functions. We looked at PaintShop Pro, but it did not seem as robust as PhotoPaint and lacks the vector graphic capabilities of CorelDRAW Graphics Suite. Generally, for quick, easy image editing and vector graphic creation, CorelDRAW Graphics Suite is much easier to use. We also use Windows Paint for some jobs, but in most cases, Paint does not include many of the tools required for day-to-day image editing.
