Overall Satisfaction with Cornerstone OnDemand

I use Cornerstone to assign mandatory training and collect completion reports and data.
  • Customization features, such as headers in emails, make for a better user experience.
  • Reporting 2.0 makes sharing reports much easier.
  • Language equivalencies are a huge benefit for sending out training globally.
  • Exams need to be made available on the mobile app.
  • Send out required compliance training globally in multiple languages - met.
  • Track training completions - met.
  • Use mobile app to send out training modules and tests - not met.

In my experiences, tickets can be open for a long time and do not always get resolved. This area may have improved since I last submitted a ticket to Cornerstone.
Cornerstone has a lot of useful features. I recommend new admins go to the two-day class in Santa Monica to learn about the basics of Cornerstone. The users groups (when in-person) are also useful for networking and getting tips about how others are utilizing Cornerstone. Some items could use improvement - for example why does a training description only appear on a transcript when it the learning object is in a curriculum? If it is assigned as an individual learning object, the training description does not show on the transcript. I like the new updates of Reporting 2.0 but it seems to crash a lot.
I haven't used other products but from the research I've seen, Cornerstone offers the most customizations.
CSOD is useful in sending out required training and tracking completion status. The email templates for sending out training are great. The mobile app for sending out training still needs some work.
