Overall Satisfaction with Critical Mention

Our organization uses Critical Mention to monitor for coverage on client announcements and interviews we schedule. We mostly use it for radio and television coverage, but some also use it for online coverage too. It helps us keep track of the great work we are doing for clients and share them with the client for internal use.
  • It helps us track radio and TV coverage for clients.
  • It helps us find out how many viewers saw a specific tv clip or listened to a radio segment.
  • Not all broadcast clips have audience numbers which is unfortunate.
  • I would prefer more accurate speech to text - some words are misspelled, and it's tough to find clips because of it.
  • Able to show the work we are doing for clients.
  • Can monitor the total number of viewers who have seen something.
We used to use a program called TVEyes to track for coverage. Critical Mention can track more sites, is more user-friendly, and has specific audience numbers for most of the broadcast outlets it tracks. It also is easier to search on Critical Mention over TVEyes for most items.
I have never used the customer support function for Critical Mention, and therefore, cannot give a response on this.

Would you buy Critical Mention again?

Critical Mention is excellent for tracking broadcast coverage and monitoring clips for clients. It is for internal purposes only, but at least you can share with clients the various work you are doing for them and can review interviews and use them for training purposes to practice and improve on them.
