Overall Satisfaction

  • It generates reports quickly and efficiently.
  • I used Crystal Reports to pull information from a database and was able to customize certain aspects of letters to people in the database (name, address, donation amount, etc) without having to manually type these letters for each individual.
  • Crystal Reports is not very intuitive and is difficult to understand without having someone walk you through it first.
  • Formatting a document within the context of Crystal Reports can be tricky and it takes time to get the output to look exactly as you would like it to.
  • Crystal Reports allowed me to provide better customer service by allowing me to work more efficiently and to provide results faster.
I would likely renew the use of Crystal Reports. I would be more likely to renew if a tutorial class came along with renewing it so that more employees can have the opportunity to learn how to use it.
I would tell a colleague to spend as much time as possible just playing around and creating dummy reports when they first start using it so they can try out all of the different functions and get to know the program.
