Pros and Cons

Very easy to use, much of the functionality is self explanatory.
Easy to train others on.
Beautiful graphical interface.

The users I support wish that establishing connections to the DB were a bit easier to figure out without much support.
Error messages could be more specific.

Return on Investment

It has increased efficiency in generating Ad Hoc reports. Our reporting in general needed work, and we have been able to respond more quickly to requests.
Our reports now look fantastic. Our reporting prior was very crude, and not pleasing to the eye.
More of our end users, now have greater knowledge of our DB because of using the tool

This would be because of all the positives I have mentioned before. Plus it is widely used and recognized by other clients of ours. As well as those who we hire.

Jump right in and grab as many resources as possible to learn. Someone who can easily pick up new applications and has the willingness to learn is perfect for this kind of tool.
