Overall Satisfaction with Cvent Event Management

We have been using Cvent Event Management for over 10 years to manage two types of events: our annual customer conferences (up to 400 people in-person and now hundreds of online attendees) as well as our smaller hands-on product training registration.
Cvent Event Management has continued to evolve their solutions to create an ever better registration experience for our customers. The platform has the tools we need to handle complex curriculum and now the extended needs for virtual and hybrid events.

  • Support the experience of both in-person and online attendees through the Attendee Hub and companion app

  • Cvent team support is excellent
  • Waitlist management
  • Attendance management within the basic event management features (versus the need to go premium)
  • Some Cvent products aren't always well integrated with other Cvent products (appointments, speaker center)

  • Large increase in our participant numbers through the added virtual conference tools (all virtual events or hybrid events)
  • Better workflow since the introduction of Flex (multiple employees can work on the event and focus on their area of expertise, such as the design, communication, and registration logic)
We evaluated ON24, and while their solution had a lot of good features, it did not encompass enough of the features Cvent Event Management offer to make it comparable. Cvent's support is also top in its league. Over the years, I have seen real growth in Cvent Event Management's features. They keep on innovating, and they have great support (I know I said this multiple times, but it is true and so important). Between the community, knowledgebase, training academy, and celebrity program, not to mention a team of people (account manager, customer success specialist, solutions specialists) right there along the way, it is an essential part of why we continue to work with Cvent Event Management.

Cvent Event Management has an excellent support team at all levels. This is extremely important to us, and it makes up for some of the occasional issues or feature unavailability.
Most of our events are not complex, but we host dozens of them each year and around the US. Cvent Event Management allows us to easily duplicate events.
For the more complex events we run annually, Cvent Event Management has all the tools we need to handle an experience both in-person and online with intricate curriculum and pre-event content.
