Overall Satisfaction with D&B Credit Insights

D&B Credit Insights Basic helped me understand my credit profile better. It allowed me to view my credit the way lenders view me. It also helped me to develop a strategy when extending credit to my clients. I purchased D&B Credit Insights Basic to enhance my creditworthiness and improve my chances of getting paid when extending credit to clients.

Pros

  • Provides credit scoring I can understand
  • Provides personalized support representatives for my business
  • Adds a better, more reliable web presence

Cons

  • Allowing some client search features
  • Monitoring and reporting outside credit lines
  • Improved by online presence
  • Decreased my cost of capital and borrowing costs
I thought the product was good. I would have liked to use the credit search feature to underwrite my business clients. I thought the personalized support was helpful. I was satisfied with the number ratings, and I am hopeful that I will continue to receive regular updates on my scores. I would like to see more active line reporting and possibly gain insights on how to improve my business credit score.

D&B Credit Insights Basic was well-suited for understanding my credit profile. It was also well-suited for applying for new credit lines and improving my web presence. The product helped me to focus on my business credit and rely less on my personal credit. I found that D&B Credit Insights Basic was unable to assist me in underwriting my clients. I was required to upgrade from my $49 subscription, which I wasn't seeing too much value out of, to a high plan. Basic is not a good option if you are trying to underwrite and run credit reports for new business clients.
