Overall Satisfaction with D&B Finance Analytics

Every new customer that we acquire is screened through D&B Finance Analytics. After the initial screening, I am able to get current information that will tell me if the customer is still on a path toward viability. There have been a few times I was able to hold off on sales to a customer before they entered bankruptcy because of the alerts given by D&B Finance Analytics.

  • Keeping track of internal data that I enter (my customer id's never save)
  • Emailing important customer changes
  • Decrease in delinquent accounts
  • Increase in customer retention

I have been able to make sure that we are taking on good risks and decreasing the number of collections that we have to do. Through D&B Finance Analytics, I have been able to weed out customers that do not have a good payment history and have those customers pay upon delivery instead of waiting for them to hopefully pay later. Cash flow has definitely been better.
Implementation and deployment of D&B Finance Analytics was simple. Whenever there was a question of why a payment was late or if a customer could have terms with us, I would just go to D&B Finance Analytics. Whenever there was a new customer I would go to D&B Finance Analytics. I have well over 2000 records of customers that are constantly being analyzed and reported upon, and that saves so much time, especially when it comes to not having to deal with collection agencies getting the money for us.
I've never had any problems, so I've never had to deal with support. I get emails and calls from reps but have never had to call them for problems or support.

Being able to evaluate and keep track of new and existing customers is a necessity in today's business climate. Having a section on the website that is specifically for changes in the customer's information (both positive and negative) is such a great tool that I use all the time. I can easily see which path customers are on and be on top of their payments and make sure we are not at risk of losing money if I see a negative trend.
