The company profiles are in great detail in the D&B, also the coverage of the companies is vast. Its a one stop source to know any info on a company, if its not covered here its probably not anywhere else. More information on the startup companies would be a real value addition.

I look for designation, business unit, years of total experience, years in current company, details of prev company, contact details etc. for prospecting. For targeting D&B is a great resource it helps me to get to the last mile of filtering the accounts for my focused lead generation activity.
The data is very rich and one of the best resources available. The essential filters are account name (to include subsidiaries, and local entities), designation (it will be nice to have an AI engine to suggest designations that may be relevant), country/province/city etc., and off course verified contact details (if multiple the better)
They are very good for targeting, however they don't provide sufficient account on the company if i were to plan a new client acquisition strategy. LI Sales Nav is also good, I like they way you can navigate a leads connections and include relevant ones from them, contact details are hard to find here.

Its a great resource for company research, competitive intelligence etc. It has data limitations when it comes to startup companies, but the data for large companies is very detailed. The functionalities are also good and has a great user interface to mine the information. In my opinion the products/solutions section of the companies is an area where they can expand.
