Overall Satisfaction with Dataloader.io
Dataloader is used within the office of admission as well as the office of graduate and professional studies. It is used in conjunction with TargetX/Salesforce.com to batch import and update records within the CRM.
- Dataloader is a great tool for batch importing new records into TargetX/Salesforce.com.
- It is also used for batch updating records already in the CRM system.
- Dataloader has the ability to batch delete specific fields/items on records, as well as batch deleting the records themselves.
- Not all fields are available for matching a record during updating. It would be great to be able to use any unique record identifier to match on. However, this may be a limitation of the CRM system, and not a limitation of Dataloader itself.
- One positive impact is the ability for us to get thousands of leads/contacts into the CRM system within a matter of minutes.
- Additionally, we're able to update already existing records in just a few seconds.
DemandTools also provides the ability to batch import or update records within our CRM system. We use both products, but Dataloader is slightly more user-friendly.
