Overall Satisfaction with DataMotion

DataMotion is used to power the secure and internal messaging program. It is used across the whole organization by staff members to send messages and documents that would otherwise be most appropriately handled in-person. It ensures that documents and other important pieces of information can be delivered in a remote manner.
  • Send important documents securely
  • Track messages (when they have been opened and received, for example)
  • Offer several measures of security
  • The interface is not aesthetically pleasing.
  • There could be related onboarding training.
  • The change my password function does not work well.
  • Improved Employee Effectiveness
  • Fast turnaround
  • Reduced administrative overhead
I haven't used a similar product but at my past organization, we did not use a secure messaging system. Instead, we used Outlook's email function to send HR documents like I-9 forms and W-2 forms. While I wasn't uncomfortable doing that, I feel like I feel more assured that my documents are safer now using DataMotion.
I have not really had any major problems with DataMotion and its functions. I think it is very straightforward to use. I will say that it was hard setting up the account at first. I kept using the "forgot my password" function but it would not work. Other than that, my experience with the technology has been positive.
I don't think that DataMotion is well integrated at my organization. It feels like something you would only used when asked - not an everyday occurrence. For this reason, I don't believe I can answer this question fairly well.
I think that more people would use DataMotion at my organization if there were better integration into our main portals. It feels a bit clunky and cumbersome to use the DataMotion technology as is. The benefits of using the technology is obvious, in my opinion, but there could be more improvement - especially as more organizations face phishing attacks and spam emails.

Do you think DataMotion delivers good value for the price?

Not sure

Are you happy with DataMotion's feature set?

Yes

Did DataMotion live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of DataMotion go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy DataMotion again?

Yes

DataMotion is well suited for sending HR-type documents. I would consider these type of documents to be low to mid-level in terms of the subject's sensitivity. This may include information like addresses, phone numbers, and signed documents. I wouldn't use it for important conversations dealing with Title IX-type of issues.
