I help to implement Dentrix together with my marketing tool (Gohighlevel) and we use it hand in hand to ensure that patients show up for their appointment.
  • Patient management and keeping records.
  • Good charting notes on a medical level.
  • Good revenue tracking capabilities.
  • Good fast sms reply system.
  • Bad pipeline management system.
  • Old in UI.
  • Complicated to start using.
  • Patient management.
  • Revenue tracking.
  • Recare reminders.
  • Increase ROI.
  • Negative - creates confusion if a patient is a marketing lead patient.
  • Increase recare scheduling.

It is used as a patient management system but not as a full-fledged marketing and customer relationship system. The most dentist I have worked with have tried to use it for both marketing and a patient management system and IT Caused a huge mess in their database. I will encourage all dentists to separate both functions and the software that they use to manage them.
