Overall Satisfaction with Deputy
We use Deputy across our entire team from FOH Staff, Chefs and Managers. Deputy allows us to schedule and track our entire team's shifts and also helps other managers in the business view who is meant to be working or how many staff we have on for the period etc.
Pros
- Helps us visibly see who is on the roster for upcoming shifts.
- Can view how many staff we have in each area.
- Provides budget targets when rostering.
Cons
- The payment estimator on the awards is regularly inaccurate.
- Took us a long time to be able to understand and integrate with Xero.
- Great for wage control and using this to measure how expensive different staff are.
- Is really great to see the location of staff that try to log on/off on their phones early or who are late.
- We love being able to send out reminders of shifts etc. and using the discussion page to let staff know about jobs that need doing.
Deputy has been the first software recommended to us and we haven't looked around for another product since.
