Overall Satisfaction with Deputy
Deputy is a software that is vital to our organization. We have two business that I have incorporated the use of Deputy at and we would not be able to function without it. It helps us to manage schedules and leave requests, maintain budgeting, and communicate all in one place. I love that there is an app associated with the software, as it ensures everything is accessible!
- Accessibility - the app and webpage are easy to navigate and learn.
- Training - I love how involved the team is and the opportunities that they offer to customers to learn more about Deputy. Even being a seasoned user, I appreciate the information and time spent to further my experience and knowledge with Deputy.
- Scheduling - I have used a few scheduling software and Deputy excels by far in all scheduling categories. It is easy to learn, navigate and master. It also is so practical and extremely accessible in terms of having the app for our team members to use.
- App - Thank you for creating an app that is seamless and trouble free. Many of the other scheduling software that I previously used did not have an app or it was overly complicated to use. I am so appreciative of it!
- Ease of updating shifts/request through the app. It would make it easier for management on the go when unable to log into a computer to complete this process.
- Modify more color options in the schedule to personalize it more.
- Turn off feature for the clock-in/clock-out notifications/usage. We do not need this feature and the alerts can be a bit overwhelming.
- We save hundreds of dollars now because of the budgeting features. I appreciate how well everything is labeled and viewable while in the scheduling process so that you're able to see what your spending cost per day is as well as per team member.
- It has also helped to keep us accountable as well as gently remind us about raises and incentives for our team members, which has helped boost our employee morale even more. I love that the details are easily viewable so that I am reminded where my team is at daily.

We have used Word document schedule templates, When I Work, Homebase, and Google Sheets with no ease or success in comparison to Deputy. The app in itself makes it excel alone compared to other scheduling companies as it's free, easy to navigate, and consistent. But the features are unparalleled to its counterparts. I appreciate the fact that you pay a tiny percentage per employee rather than a bulk price for a group of set people. It just makes sense and it is extremely affordable. I love that you can incorporate a budget and maintain it through Deputy, as well to ensure your business plans can stay on track. Even through COVID, Deputy as a company took care of its clientele, and for that, we will always trust our business with Deputy.
