Overall Satisfaction with Deputy

We use Deputy To log our manufacturing staff hours. It's essentially used as a time tracker of their start and finish times. This information is then sent across to XERO for processing payroll.
  • Accurate with time tracking start and end times.
  • Accurate for off site clock on and off including location.
  • Easily sends timesheets across to Xero.
  • The syntax can sometimes be a little confusing with XERO as we don't fit into the standard AWARDS.
  • The Unpaid Leave categories is actually not a Paid item in XERO payroll so its difficult to link up to the leave category and have the timesheets in Deputy go accross to the unpaid leave
  • Time Saved on manual timesheets.
  • Improved payroll accuracy.

The syntax can be difficult to get your head around, but if you persevere it's not too bad.
We had created all new payroll categories in XERO that would talk to Deputy Syntax.

It's well suited when there is overtime and the staff's time is variable from one week to the next and there are different rates of pay that are applicable for overtime.
