Overall Satisfaction with Deputy
Our whole firm uses Deputy for non-exempt employees to log hours and request leave.
- Intuitive interface, new users need minimal training
- Allows users to accomplish tasks very quickly, no waiting for pages to load
- Syncs with our payroll system
- Can custom configure how much control you want users to have - everything from just clock in/out to allowing them to modify their own time and schedules
- Recently the support experience has been lacking - move towards auto bots who cannot actually answer detailed questions, and lag time when receiving responses from live help technicians are significant
- They appear to be developing a new version of the software, and some functionality, particularly with regard to [the] mapping of leave categories, has stopped syncing to our payroll provider
- Interface could be more modern in appearance, it seems a bit outdated
- Saves us a ton of time versus other time tracking options used in the past
- Love that it syncs with our payroll, has eliminated time spent on data entry as well as errors
- Like the feature for users to request leave through Deputy that also syncs to our payroll provider so that they are able to view and track their own leave balances
