Overall Satisfaction with Deputy
We currently use Deputy at our largest location. We use it for scheduling, messaging and payroll export. It makes running payroll much easier since I can import the hours into our payroll company website and saves time with data entry and human error with that data entry. It provides a platform that management can send out mass messages or targeted ones. Employees can view their schedule, send messages and swap shifts with other employees as well. It has features for the management to see labor costs and percentages.
- Shift scheduling.
- Location based clock-in.
- Displaying shifts and hours.
- When changes are made to the website, it can be difficult to adjust to.
- Adding employee pay rates and different rates of pay has become more confusing.
- Export of hours has been affected with the new changes to entering pay rates and OT hours are exporting as regular. Needing to manually change to OT in payroll.
- This definitely saves time with manually entering hours.
- Hours are more accurate with location based clock-ins.
- When everything is right payroll is run in less than 15 minutes.
