Overall Satisfaction with Deputy
Deputy is used to create weekly schedules for the company. It also used to manage availability and leave requests, and for employees to offer or trade their shifts to ensure coverage. We also use it to analyze our coverage vs sales history.
Pros
- Scheduling.
- Leave requests.
- Payroll export.
Cons
- Lock in store hours to the schedule.
- Easier for customers to registers.
- See who's on leave while scheduling.
- The integration of scheduling, time cards, and payroll has cut 75% off of our company's time to perform each of these functions separately.
- Our payroll is much more accurate - employees are paid exactly for the hours they works.
- Employees can communicate with management and each other much more efficiently to ensure their shifts are covered.
The products are similar, but I liked Deputy's payroll integration better, and our national co-op network negotiated better pricing with Deputy than I could get with When I Work.
