Overall Satisfaction with Deputy
Deputy is used across our entire business, and it's a massive help in calculating payroll. While some of our team members are salaried, the majority are hourly and so there's an immediate benefit from a service like Deputy. We regularly have to leave our office to do on-site work, and Deputy is invaluable in making that process easier. Whether in the office or not, we can always be making sure that our hours are being tracked appropriately and fair compensation is assured! Deputy really does remove one of the regular obstacles from a working week or day.
- Ease of use and readability makes the app very useful.
- Being available on mobile devices is a massive asset and makes the app much more useful.
- We can also use the app to track tasks and even stay abreast of events in coworkers' lives, such as birthdays!
- The app can be a little bit slow sometimes with its location tracking feature.
- Sometimes there are redundant options which can be confusing.
- Honestly, I don't have any other complaints! For what the app is trying to be, it's done excellently!
- Time has been saved on payroll
- Time has been saved on timekeeping itself.
- Because of the time savings we've experienced, that's translated directly into lower overhead costs for the business.
We explored using ADP for these same uses, but honestly, the feature set is no contest in favor of deputy. While ADP's time tracking abilities are adequate, that's about all one can say for them. Their tools are significantly fewer, and the ones that are shared between ADP and Deputy, Deputy's are easier to navigate and generally easier to use.
