Overall Satisfaction with Deputy

I use Deputy for keeping track of my employees' timesheets. It makes scheduling my staff, tracking timesheets, and importing their hours into ADP very easy. I also love that it notifies me of work anniversaries and birthdays!

Pros

  • Tracking employee hours.
  • Anniversary reminders.
  • Auto approve timesheets.

Cons

  • Tracking PTO is a little confusing.
  • Time saved.
  • Improved payroll accuracy.
  • Cost savings.
Jibble was nice but I couldn't connect it to ADP and there was a lot of fluff that we didn't need. We couldn't figure out how to turn off (location detector and picture verification for clocking in and out).

There's some stuff that took some time to figure out (setting up tracking for PTO, the new payroll codes).
Not really. Setting up employees went smoothly.
I think Deputy is great for small businesses because it's quite user-friendly. I'm not sure about scenarios where it would be less appropriate.
