Overall Satisfaction with DigitalPersona

DigitalPersona is being used across the entire organization for SSO to third-party apps.
  • Quick and easy authentication.
  • Straightforward Active Directory integration
  • Silent solution.
  • Upgrading or attempting to contact sales. We are trying to upgrade now and are still not in contact with anyone after two weeks of pings.
  • User forums and support knowledge bases. The self-support is lacking.
  • DigitalPersona only works with Microsoft IE in our environment. We are increasingly moving away from IE and using Chrome or Firefox due to the number of issues we experience with IE. DigitalPersona should work with all major browsers.
We are currently only using it for Windows and third-party biometric logins. This could prove very impactful as I was not aware of an API offering or compatibility with mobile applications.
Absolutely. Anything that integrates with Active Directory is inevitably saving us an immense amount of time. When users are added or removed, the process is seamless. Changing passwords could be improved though.
Windows, Fiserv, approximately 25 vendor websites, credit card processing, loan, and account origination (service bureau), online banking, and our in-house core processing system.
  • We have not performed a targeted analysis to determine hard ROI numbers.
  • Our time savings is substantial, due to the number of ancillary support systems that we utilize.
We used Imprivata prior to migrating to DigitalPersona. The scanners were able to capture the fingerprint 50% of the time. I have not revisited the product since because DigitalPersona works so well...until now. We are upgrading all systems to Windows 10, and the version of DigitalPersona that we are using is apparently not compatible. Our previous sales reps are no longer with Crossmatch, and we are having trouble connecting after numerous pings.
OneLogin and Okta were functionally similar. We prefer using biometrics, due to the uniqueness of one's fingerprint.
Fiserv Digital Edge (called Verifast when demonstrated) provides end-user and customer biometric authentication, but the setup was clunky and the scanners took up a lot of real estate. Many of our employees work in small, highly efficient workspaces. This solution was not a good fit for us.
We use DigitalPersona for company end-users. We do not use it for customer authentication, as they are not tied to Active Directory.
