Overall Satisfaction with DigitalPersona Altus
We use Altus across the organization to provide extra security and speed up login times.
- Adding extra authentication methods to Windows - biometrics, PINs, One-Time Password.
- Altus Password Manager allows users to safely and securely store website passwords on-premise.
- Recovery Questions allow users to recover their own passwords if they get locked out or cannot remember their password.
- Licensing-- even accounts that don't use Altus authentication receive a license. This means I have to go and revoke a license from a user who doesn't need it to add a new user who does.
- When you have cold hands, the biometric readers do not work well until your fingers are warmed up.
- Users login faster without having to type passwords.
- Users lock themselves out less because they don't have to remember so many passwords. As a result, help desk calls are fewer.
