DISCO Elevates
Overall Satisfaction with DISCO Ediscovery
Document review, deposition preparation, and trial preparation
Pros
- filter searches
- exhibit sets
- Ease of use - not counter-intuitive
Cons
- Providing a list of what DISCO can do i.e., translation applications
- Cost savings
- Easier to use and train others
Translation service - has saved in many respects. Love the filter applications - so much easier to narrow down the documents relevant to the searches Love the Exhibit Sets I can see easily what has been used and with what without having to dig through filed pleadings.
I have been able to use a discovery platform even on smaller cases where we traditionally do not because of cost restrictions. It has also made us look very good because our clients appreciate our keeping their vendor costs down while still being able to perform at the highest level.
I am able to bill less time to the client because DISCO filters allow me to search and retrieve documents much more effectively and allow me to move on to other issues. Other platforms like Relativity cost way too much and are much more difficult to navigate. I can't my own files or run my own productions on other platforms. DISCO allows me the choice and my hands aren't tied to extensive management and production costs.
We have a wonderful relationship with Pinnacle Dallas - they handle all the management, and run whatever needs to be done quickly and effectively. Freeing me to do the work I need to do.
The cost was a huge driver but more than that it was the ease of use and the ability to offer to more of our clients than we would have been able to in the past due to cost and size.
DISCO is more cost effective, easier to use and outperforms the other platforms. DISCO makes me look good. :)
