Overall Satisfaction with DraftSight

The whole organization uses this when we need drawings for production. We had some problems with the first version in 2019, but with the new year when free versions were gone, we have had no problems. Now, we try to update with new versions, but we don't like that after renewing our license, the registration was not automatic.
  • Much cheaper than AutoCAD LT
  • Same functions as AutoCAD LT
  • Fewer crashes on Windows 10 pro
  • It could be more stable.
  • More compatibility with Adobe Illustrator and Corel Draw
  • We can create mostly all the drawings we need for production.
  • We can't create drawings for printing (for that we need other software).
We use DraftSight for production drawings and for outside partners for DXF drawings. It is not so good when we need to put some vector pictures on DraftSight drawings and put dimensions for positions. We hope in the future it will include support for vector drawings (like Adobe Illustrator and Corel Draw).
