I use it mostly to store files and pictures of items that I frequently need at my disposal, whether at home or away from my desktop computer. I have it installed on my desktop, laptop and mobile device, so I can share these files at any time. It is easily updated, and gives me much more mobility than I used to have
- Keep files in order. I have a tendency to misfile things, but when I use drop box, they usually end up ion the right place
- Ease of use in multiple locations. I used to have to return home to access some files, but now they are accessible anywhere I want to take them.
- Common platform. The look and utilization of the program does not change from one device to another. I really like that.
- Constant update. It is up to me to keep all files updated from whatever source I want to use. Files must be copied into drop box, or it;s effectiveness starts to wane.
- I would love to see Dropbox change so when it sees that I upgrade a folder, it automatically changes that folder in it's contents.
- I can't translate my experience with Drop Box to any ROI figure at this time. That is not the way I use it
