Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Dropbox is used primarily to store photo files from digital scans we perform in the studio. Because we have multiple studios across the country, we need to be able to send, store photos on a remote server so as to not bog down our own servers since we do hundreds of scans per day. Dropbox really has made our line really fluid and offers peace of mind.

While both extremely similar, Dropbox caters slightly more to the non-traditional white-collar business and has a unique ability to marry the professional and avid storage user.

Support Rating

We've yet to encounter any issues when dealing with support tickets being addressed since we've implemented it in 2013.

It's best suited for small and large businesses due to the easy to use storing of local files. The more you use, the more you get out of the service. If you are constantly in need of space and not looking to sacrifice internal storage, DropBox wins hands down! Dropbox makes syncing a breeze with behind the scenes activity that makes it easier to focus on the work.
