COVID-19 Changes
Druva inSync continues to serve as our backup tool for many of our laptops even as users work on them remotely. This gives IT and our end users assurance that no data will be lost if anything should have remotely to cause damage or loss of their hard drives.
- Provides ransomware protection for all endpoints that we have Druva inSync installed on
- Automated monitoring for unusual data activity triggers immediate notifications in the event of a ransomware attack on one or more machines
- Restore all, or individual, uninfected files, to return machines and servers to any point in time prior to the ransomware attack
As of now, we have not needed to use Druva inSync for employee turnover challenges during COVID-19. However, if we did, we would most likely have a case where we would need to pull data from a backup after wiping a machine. If so, we would have no issue as we mark Druva accounts as Preserved at least for a year after a person leaves the organization.

We had a case where a user's Druva tool kept giving an error even after un-installing and re-installing the client. The support person checked in multiple times to work to set a time to resolve the issue as soon as possible, and he was able to resolve the issue on the first try after setting up and conducting a remote session with the user.
